MECANO ID
MECANO ID provides complete project management for the supply of tooling and complex special-purpose machines for its customers in the space, energy and defence sectors. Harsh environments such as pressure, vacuum, extreme temperatures and radiation constitute MECANO ID’s added value.
MECANO ID designs and manufactures a wide range of tools for the major actors in the space industry. As part of the Mars InSight mission, MECANO ID has developed a hoisting tool for the CNES to carry out handling operations on the ground for the SEIS seismometry instrument.
Each tooling is CE certified.
As part of the development of a special-purpose machine, MECANO ID has developed a cleaning and inspection system for a pulsed high-frequency generator for the CEA center in GRAMAT. The rotative cleaning head blows and sucks up debris, then confirms the condition of the internal walls through integrated cameras. Ionizing probes are also on board to act on the anti-statism of the wall.
MECANO ID carried out the design and mechanical sizing studies for the extension of the SCORPION floor of the ARIANE 6 launch pad in French Guiana, compatible with 2 and 4 booster configurations.
